Catch Problematic Provider Content Before Publication

Strategy providers regularly update public profiles and offers to promote their services and communicate with followers.

Without a preventive moderation workflow, misleading claims, competitor advertising, inappropriate information or other policy-violating content may become visible before brokerage staff identify it.

Provider moderation gives brokers a structured way to review selected provider-generated public information before publication.

MODERATION WORKFLOW

How Moderation Works

Step 1

Provider Submits Changes

A signal provider updates public profile information or edits an offer. When moderation is enabled for that content type, the provider is notified that the change goes for review before publishing.

Step 2

A Moderation Request Is Created

The change is submitted as a moderation request. Providers can review, edit or delete the request while it is still pending.

Step 3

Content Enters the Pending Queue

The request appears in the admin portal, where staff can see both the previous and the proposed changes. Moderation rights follow staff permissions, so brokers control who can act on requests and who can only view them.

Step 4

Approve, Edit or Reject

The moderator can approve the submission, edit it before approval or reject it with comments for the provider. The provider sees the outcome and any rejection reason in their request history.

Step 5

Approved Content Goes Live

Only approved information becomes publicly visible only after approval.

Protect Your Brand and Improve Moderation Efficiency

Moderation helps brokers move from reactive content monitoring to a preventive workflow. Potential operational benefits include:

โœ“

Reduced risk of harmful public provider content

โœ“

Greater consistency in profile and offer review

โœ“

Better protection against competitor advertising

โœ“

More structured communication with providers

โœ“

Less reliance on manual and ad hoc monitoring

โœ“

Clearer responsibilities for moderation staff

Moderation supports internal policies and operational controls, but it does not replace the brokerโ€™s own legal or compliance review.

Moderation gives brokers preventive control over public provider profile and offer changes.

Together, the extensions support engagement while helping the brokerage maintain greater oversight of provider-generated public information.
